The Butterdream Baking story...

Welcome to Butterdream Baking - everything you see around here is lovingly hand mixed, rolled, baked and decorated by its creator - Heather Moremon.

The Butterdream Baking journey all began when Heather decided to make her sister in law a baby shower cake. Having always loved being in the kitchen making delicious food for family and friends, she didnt think it could be that hard...after weeks of recipe testing, book-marking magnolia bakery cook books, watching youtube tutorials and pestering her VERY clever baking mum (who just happens to be the google of cake baking and decorating) - she gave it a crack, and boy was she glad she did. Her first cake was a hit, and from there the word spread, and she started spending her weekend baking delicious cakes and boxing them up for friends, friends of friends and so on, until it got to the point where she had more orders then there were hours in a day. The family kitchen got renovated and council approved and this little business was ready to go.

Next to find something that satified the masses, and that my friends, was the next delicious decision Heather would make - the Butterdream Baking Signature COOKIE. The cookie development phase was the best part - Heather's husband was sent into work with dozens of cookies for feedback - she wanted tasting notes, she wanted constructive critisism, but instead she got "delicious", "OMG", "wait did she actually make these" and so on. OK, she knew then she was on a winner with these amazing cookies. Before Heather knew it, the cookies had taken on a life of their own, baking hundeds from her little kitchen, before long they had made their way onto the standing menu a few VERY special cafes in the northern suburbs of Perth.

Butterdream Baking is becoming a household name, and there is no wonder really - every cake, cookie, dessert or treat is lovingly home made, and Heather's heart and soul goes into each and every one she makes. All of her baked goods are homemade using only the finest ingredients and hours have gone into perfecting every goody that leaves the Butterdream Baking kitchen.
